Shipping and Return Policies
- We accept returns in In-Store for FULL PRICE ITEMS for store credit within 14 days of purchase with a receipt. Credit will be given in the form of a gift card.
- Some SALE items may qualify for STORE/WEB CREDIT in the form of a gift card.
- Items designated as "FINAL SALE" may not be returned for any credit.
Non-clothing items are final sale.
- Intimates and underpinnings are "FINAL SALE".
- All international orders are final sale.

- Tamarind Clothing 180 Morris street #170. Sebastopol CA, 95472. Using a traceable carrier.
- Items returned must be unworn, unstained, unwashed, unaltered and in perfect condition, with all tags still attached. Shoes must be in original, undamaged box. Swimwear must be returned with hygienic liner intact. Socks must be returned unopened, in original packaging.
- Tamarind reserves the right to refuse returns at its sole discretion.
FULL PRICE ITEMS items purchased online must be returned within 14 days of date received.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- We offer free shipping with exchanges only. Exchanges are subject to availability, and if an item is not in-stock a refund will automatically be issued. Please keep in mind that our online store is a representation of items available in our brick & mortar location in Sebastopol. Availability of online items is contingent with live store stock, and in the rare case of simultaneous purchase we offer a full refund of any online purchases. Refunds will not be issued until the goods have been received and processed.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping charges. We recommend packages be returned via traceable carrier and insured to the full amount of the merchandise. We are not responsible for missing packages. If there is a mistake on the part of Tamarind (damaged or miss-shipped goods) we will reimburse customers for shipping using the same method of original purchase.
- If package is refused or returned undeliverable, all round-trip shipping costs will be deducted from credit or refund.
- Our Standard shipping and handling costs automatically include UPS Ground service with guaranteed delivery within 5-7 days from shipping date, and our Premium shipping utilizes the UPS 3 Day select service that delivers within 3 days from shipping date.
- We insure all packages for the full retail amount and will notify you by email with your tracking number. All orders processed after 12 p.m. PST will be shipped the next day.
We are happy to accommodate alternate shipping procedures if you wish to arrange expedited service or use a preferred carrier account. Please contact the shop by phone or email to arrange any requests.
- Shipping to a destination outside the US, If we currently do not ship to your country please contact us and we can accommodate your order and get you shipping rates and send an invoice via Paypal.
- At this time, we are unable to accommodate returns on international orders.
- All import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
- Buyer assumes full liability for the package as soon as it is handed to the courier service.
- If package is refused or returned undeliverable, no refund or credit will be issued by Tamarind.
- Sales tax is charged on orders shipped within California at the local tax rate.
- If you need to change your order please email email@example.com as soon as possible. We are happy to make any changes before your order has shipped.
